Scottish development feels the repercussions of Donald Trump
Muir Group, a social housing company, has submitted outline planning for a £115m housing and leisure development at Blairs College Estate, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The company plans to convert the former seminary school into a hotel and conference centre with an equestrian centre and an18-hole golf course, designed by former Open Champion Paul Lawrie.

New plans for Norwich’s Lutyens Memorial Gardens
Norwich City Council is working on a £2.6m restoration of its war memorial and memorial gardens which were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1938. The Grade II-listed park was closed in November 2004 due to structural defects in the war memorial.

Preston Hall Museum may get a £6.6m restoration
The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has provisionally set aside £3.7m for a ‘major restoration’ of Preston Hall Museum in Durham. Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council will also be backing the project to bring the total budget for the work to £6.6m.
