Mark Stead appointed Euro Disney CFO
Euro Disney has promoted Mark Stead to the role of chief financial officer.
Stead joined Disneyland Paris in 2006 and was recently in charge of delivering the company's first global risk assessment.

No Olympic rings for Edinburgh Castle
Historic Scotland has announced that plans to display the Olympic rings on the ramparts of Edinburgh Castle to mark next summer's London Games have been rejected.

Initial support for York museum scheme

Bournemouth trust reports operating surplus
BH Live, the operator of leisure and cultural facilities across Bournemouth, has reported an operating surplus of nearly £120,000 for its first 11 months of trading to 31 March 2011.
In its first annual review, the trust said it had held nearly 450 major events during the period and generated nearly £61m for the local economy, while posting a gross income of £20.8m.

GTA plans entertainment venue for Markham
GTA Sports and Entertainment has announced its plans to develop a major new sports and entertainment venue in Markham, Canada, which could open as early as 2014.

HLF investment for Merthyr Tydfil project

New attractions for SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment has announced details of three new attractions which are to be unveiled at SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove in Florida, US, in 2012 and 2013.
