Gandhi theme park to be launched in India
The Sewagram Ashram near Wardha Gandhi, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed for six years after the Dandi March, is set to be transfromed into a tourist attraction featuring a theme park. The visitor attraction is being developed with an estimated cost of Rs 62 crore (US$11.5m, 8.6m euro, £7.3m). The Gandhi for Tomorrow educational theme park will partly be based on showing how Gandhi was in favour of 'appropriate and useful' technology and not against it – as it is often claimed. New Yeti Resort proposed for popular Siberian skiing resort
