Digital scheme for arts donations launched in London
The National Funding Scheme has launched a new initiative in London that enables people to make donations to cultural institutions via digital channels. Five-year plan developed for Roman Antonine Wall
Public feedback is being sought before a five-year management plan is finalised for the Antonine Wall World Heritage Site in the Falkirk district, Scotland. The wall became part of the Frontiers of the Roman Empire World Heritage Site in 2008 and the site also includes Hadrian's Wall and the German Limes.

Legoland hotel officially opens at California resort
Legoland has officially opened its new hotel at its California resort in Carlsbad. The 250-room, three-storey hotel has been developed in response to guest feedback that it takes more than one day to explore the resort. Construction began in 2011 and the hotel opened on 5 April ahead of its summer 2013 schedule.

Wales invests £2m in museums, archives and libraries
Wales' has announced it will invest £2.17m in the country's museums, libraries and archives to make them more accessible to the public. More than £1m will go towards modernising local museums, including projects to digitise collections, to attract more visitors. Pleasurewood Hills invests £3.5m in park

Jean-Luc Martinez the new head of the Louvre
The French Culture Ministry has this week appointed Jean-Luc Martinez the new head of the Louvre, taking over from Henri Loyrette, who has held the post since 2001.
