Former Gloucester Prison could become museum
The owner of a jail museum in the Forest of Dean in Gloucester, is looking to expand his portfolio with a bid to open a museum in the recently closed Gloucester Prison. The prison, which closed at the end of March, has already had proposals not only for a museum, but also for flats and a hotel. UK consumers still shunning foreign holidays
Despite the improving economy, more than a third of Britons are still opting to stay in the UK for the holidays as a way of saving money.
