Culture Programme ahead of 2014 Commonwealth Games
The countdown to the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow is to be marked by a 12-month cultural programme one year before the games kick-off. Culture 2014, which begins later this month, will see theatre, dance, music and comedy events held around Scotland in celebration of the Games. Crawley Museum move costs increase by GBP500,000 to GBP2.35m
The predicted cost of a move and refurbishment of Crawley Museum has increased by more than £500,000 from original estimates. National Lottery Awards shortlist revealed

Trust looking for £900,000 museum investment
The Greenfield Valley Trust (GVT) has been awarded £60,000 and a 'first round pass' to finalise plans before submitting a bid for £900,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to finance a proposed museum.
