Britain targets Chinese tourism with new single visa pilot
The home secretary Theresa May has announced a new pilot scheme enabling Chinese visitors to apply for UK and European visas in a single process. The move, designed to boost UK business and tourism revenues from the lucrative Chinese market, will see Chinese visitors able to submit online applications for both a British and a Belgian visa at the same time, with a single set of supporting documents. Competition hots up for Western Australia’s new AU$400m museum with F + P, Nouvel and OMA in the running
Foster and Partners, Nouvel and OMA have been shortlisted to design and build the AU$428.3m (US$332.679m, GB£209.84m, €293.893m) Western Australian Museum, along with their respective teams.
