Blairs arrive in Cornwall to support tourism industry
Prime Minister Tony Blair and his family have arrived in Cornwall after their foreign trip to Mexico in a message of support for the British and Cornish tourist industry.

Marriott to open resort in Spain

National Theatre overhaul to target younger audience
The National Theatre has announced plans for a major transformation to the South Bank site, aimed at bringing in younger audiences.

June sees 14 per cent drop in inbound tourism
The long-term effects of foot and mouth on the leisure industry have been highlighted once again with a 14 per cent drop in overseas visitors to Britain in June.

The figures from the Office for National Statistics, show that 862,000 foreign tourists came to Britain in June compared with 996,000 for the year before. The figures are worse than the 9 per cent drop seen for figures in May.

Palace goes pop for jubilee concert

Government shortlists Dome contenders
