Stone dog's quarantine continues
The British Museum has been granted a three month extension to secure the purchase of the Dog of Alcibades by the Arts Minister Baroness Blackstone.

Vittorio Sgarbi, the Italian undersecretary for culture has threatened to undermine the National Gallery's efforts to display a complete collection of the Masaccio altar pieces.

Race is back on for studios tour
Wales will get a £300m film studio if plans by developers JV Partnership, a joint venture between Westair and Fairfield Properties, come to fruition.

Blue Carpet set alight by arsonists
Newcastle's street sculpture, Blue Carpet, has been attacked by arsonists.

Disney park to boost HK employment figures

RSC season in jeopardy after technicians vote to strike
The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon could find its programme affected after technicians voted for strike action over job cuts.
