Glasgow's City Arts Centre Re-opens
Glasgow's Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) re-opens next week after a £10.5m revamp.

The redeveloped venue, designed by architect David Page of Page and Park, now has six different performance spaces for arts events and club nights, plus a café, bar and bookshop.

New Development on the Banks of Loch Lomond
A new £60 million public/private leisure and retail development, situated at the southern end of Loch Lomond in west Scotland, is set to open next spring.

New Lease of Life for the Roundhouse
The Heritage Lottery Fund has earmarked £2.42m for the restoration of the Roundhouse in Camden.

The Roundhouse, a Grade II listed building, has fallen into disrepair since it closed in 1983. The Lottery Fund money will help to turn the old Victorian railway shed, built in 1846, into an adaptable performance space and creative education centre.

Wedgwood Story Wins Tourism Award
Wedgwood's £4.5 million-visitor attraction The Wedgwood Story has won an award in the 2001 Excellence in Tourism Awards.
