Football fans can kick-off drinking at dawn
UK pubs will be allowed to serve from 5am during the World Cup, to make up for the eight-hour difference between the UK and the event's hosts, Japan and South Korea. Dome sale suffers further setback
The government's attempts to sell the Millennium Dome have suffered a new setback after the Duke of Westminster's property company dropped its bid for the attraction. London Zoo's ends 170-year tradition
The elephants at London Zoo are to be permanently moved to Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, ending a tradition of keeping elephants in London, which dates back to 1831.
