Next step in Sheffield's museum transformation
Sheffield's City Museum and Mappin Art Gallery are embarking on stage two of their £15m refurbishment plans. Sheffield Galleries & Museums Trust received stage one approval from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for its plans to refurbish the adjoining Victorian buildings earlier this year. Longleat wins Family Attraction of the Year award

The Greatest Show on Earth

Transformation at Oceanarium
Work has got underway on the £700,000 redevelopment of the Oceanarium in Bournemouth. Museum unveils Phase Two of Darwin Centre

Themed party nights at Madame Tussaud's
