Conservation skills shortage endangers public heritage
The Heritage Lottery Fund says that many of Britain's conservation skills are endangered, 'putting the fabric of our heritage at risk'. £10m restoration of 1930s art deco hotel
The Midland Hotel overlooking Morecambe Bay in Lancashire, the Britain's only surviving art deco hotel, is to be restored to its former glory. Windsor Castle tribute to Golden Jubilee

'UKOK' for visitors says BTA

Kent County Council has joined forces with private companies including Eurotunnel, Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral to promote the county to tourists.
