Two new attractions for Grévin & Cie
French amusement park operator, Grévin & Cie, formerly Parc Astérix, has acquired a further two amusement parks. Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace
To mark the Golden Jubilee the Queen's Gallery will re-open at Buckingham Palace in May following major refurbishment. £5m Exhibition Centre at Sutton Hoo
The National Trust is opening a £5m exhibition and visitor centre at Sutton Hoo in Suffolk. The attraction, set to open on March 13, will give the public better access to one of Britain's most important archaeological sites and bring Anglo-Saxon warrior culture to life. London: 'Greatest Show on Earth'
A campaign to sell London to the rest of the UK has kicked off under the banner 'The Greatest Show on Earth'. Managed by London Tourist Board and Convention Bureau (LTB), on behalf of the Mayor's London Tourism Action Group (LTAG), the campaign aims to drive visits and overnight stays to London. A greener vision for London
Everyone who lives and works in London should be able to enjoy green spaces, is the joint message from the Countryside Agency, Forestry Commission and English Nature, announced at the Greenspace Conference, chaired by Pam Warhurst, deputy chair of the Countryside Agency. Eden seeks £40m backing for desert dome expansion
The Eden project is seeking £40m to fund an expansion project, to include a third bio-dome with semi-desert conditions, but admits there is much work to be done before plans can be realised.
