Theatreshare to start trading
Theatreshare, the newly formed West End theatre production company headed by Stephen Fry, starts trading next month. BTA reveals new chief executive
The British Tourist Authority (BTA) has announced the appointment of Tom Wright as chief executive designate from 1 June 2002, replacing Jeff Hamblin on 1 August 2002. Welcoming the appointment, BTA chair David Quarmby said: 'I am delighted that Tom is joining BTA. He will bring highly relevant, senior management and commercial experience to the vital task of determining and leading BTA's future strategy.'

Tourism threatened by US entry regulations clampdown

LTB chair steps down

Brighton museum to open after £10m refurbishment
The Brighton museum and art gallery will reopen on 4 May following a £10m refurbishment, including £7.5m donated by the Heritage lottery fund. Fire closes Center Parcs' Suffolk village
The Elveden Forest Center Parcs site in Suffolk will be closed for months after a serious blaze last week (April 4) triggered a full evacuation of about 3,500 holidaymakers.
