Aquarium and multi-complex entertainment destination for Atlanta

Waterside centre to save sports
The Exe Waterside and Heritage Committee is to apply for lottery funding next month in a bid to save Exmouth's watersports. The committee, headed by local businessman Alun Sands, wants to create a non-profit making centre dedicated to all watersports from sailing and windsurfing to canoeing and rowing. Talks continue about Universal Studios in Malaysia
Rumours about a Universal Studios theme park being built in Malaysia continue as the Tourism Minister for Malaysia arrives in Singapore for meetings with the Singapore Tourism Board. SimEx!Iwerks announces six month results
SimEx!Iwerks has announced sales of $25.6m in its first six months of operating as a merged company. The now privately held company has operating cash profits of $1.8m. British Museum sell study centre
The British Museum has exchanged contracts to sell its former study centre in New Oxford Street to help finance other capital projects. London Eye wins LTB top spot
For the second year running, the British Airways London Eye was the clear winner as top attraction in the London Tourism Awards, as well as being the public's firm favourite. Funding for Coventry Transport Museum
The Coventry Transport Museum has received £2.6m in grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the European Regional Development Fund and the Designation Challenge Fund. All-night opening huge success for Tate Modern
Over half a million people visited the Matisse Picasso exhibition, making it the most popular ever in the Tate Gallery's history.
