Tourist Information Centres triumph
Regional tourist board, Visit Heart of England, has revealed that the 105 Tourist Information Centres (TICs) in its region welcomed over 4.75million visitors in 2002 and generated around £8m for the region’s economy through local bookings and its ‘Book a Bed Ahead’ service.
