Former Efteling COO, Coen Bertens, and former BRC Imagination Arts exec, Bart Dohmen, have partnered to set up a consultancy for the tourism and visitor attraction sectors.
Called Tourist Development and Attraction Consultants (TDAC), the firm will be structured as around a group of associates and will specialise in investment, hospitality and return on investment.
With a focus on the guest experience, TDAC will offer its services to operators, investors and governments looking for independent advice when developing projects.
Dohmen said: "We want to become the European consultancy firm driven by senior consultants with a range of executive backgrounds.
"We'll provide independent knowledge and advice for the local leisure markets and we're already working on projects in Luxembourg, Poland, Croatia and the Netherlands."
TDAC has also made its first major appointment, with Peter van Wijk, CEO of 24indoor, joining the team.
Van Wijck has built a chain of more than 60 indoor FECs across Europe and, according to Dohmen, will bring "a vast knowledge of FECs and playgrounds to the team".
